Oral and Poster Presentations
To ensure consistency, high visual quality, and a smooth experience during the event, all presenters are required to follow the guidelines below. This section provides the official templates for oral and poster presentations, along with the essential specifications for preparing your presentation materials.
Oral Presentations
An official template is available for LAMC 2026. However, presenters may use their own templates, provided that the slides maintain a clear, professional, and effective format.
- Time Allocation: Presentations are strictly limited to 15 minutes, including Q&A.
- Slide Design: Use legible, standard fonts such as Arial, Calibri, or Helvetica, with a recommended font size of 20–24 pt. Ensure high contrast, preferably dark text on a light background, and make all diagrams large enough to be easily read from the back of the room.
- Template Features: Use the predefined layouts and built-in alignment guides to ensure consistent formatting and clean margins.
- Submission: Upload your presentation through the EDAS system before November 27, 2026.
Poster Presentations
An official template is available for LAMC 2026. Please follow the specifications below when preparing your poster.
- Dimensions and Orientation: 24 in × 40 in, in portrait orientation.
- Margins and Guides: Maintain a safe margin of 0.75 in from all edges. We recommend enabling guides in your design software to ensure that all content remains within these boundaries.
- Legibility: Use a minimum font size of 30 pt (approximately 10 mm) for body text to ensure readability from a distance.
- Background: Maintain high contrast between text and background for optimal readability.
- Font Embedding: Ensure all fonts are embedded in the exported file to prevent display issues or font substitution.
- Printing: Export your final poster as a high-resolution PDF. PDF/A compliance is recommended for printing.
