Getting to Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is served by two main airports:

  • Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza, EZE): Most international flights operate here, along with some domestic and regional services. It is located about 30 km from the city center.
  • Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparque, AEP): Located close to the city center, it primarily handles domestic and regional flights.

There are also regular ferry services between Buenos Aires and the cities of Montevideo and Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. The main ferry terminal in Buenos Aires is located in Puerto Madero.

Visa Requirements

Argentina has agreements with many countries whose citizens do not need a visa to enter the country for tourism.  You can find the list of passport holders exempt from visa requirements here

Argentina no longer charges reciprocity fees to US, Canadian or Australian citizens.
